Sanctuary for veterans: a three-month support programme
What is Sanctuary?
Sanctuary is a programme for Ukrainian veterans being developed by A Soldier’s Friend and Valhalla on Earth. The planned stay is three months. The programme is still in development; this page is not an announcement that applications are open.
Seven-day decompression (TLD)
The initial seven days are designed as a structured pause, with a predictable routine, space to rest and time to adjust. Participation in Reforge is voluntary during these first seven days.
Valhalla on Earth’s role
Valhalla on Earth is responsible for non-clinical psychosocial support, Reforge, education for veterans and families, and outcomes research. A Soldier’s Friend owns Sanctuary. The approach is designed for veterans who do not trust clinical systems or do not want to use them.
